On Friday, May 21, the UFC Fight Night 188 fighter weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Garbrandt and Font both successfully made the weight. While Font is ready to make his main event debut with a weight of 136 pounds, Garbrandt came in at 135.5 pounds.

Apart from Garbrandt and Font, 24 other fighters also weighed in, with just one miss. The co-main event fighters Xiaonan and Esparza also successfully made weight with both coming in at 116 pounds.

Except for Juancamilo Ronderos, all the fighters scheduled to fight at the event made weight comfortably. Ronderos was chosen as a replacement for Raulian Paiva against David Dvorak. However, the fight will go as scheduled, although Ronderos will be fined 20% of his purse.
