Marcin Tybura beat Blagoy Ivanov in their heavyweight clash at UFC Vegas 68. The Polish heavyweight put on a strong show to gain a unanimous decision victory. With this win, he has now won 7 out of his last 8 heavyweight bouts. 37-year-old Tybura came into the fight, having won four out of his last five. 36-year-old Ivanov, on the other hand, won three out of his last five.

Both veterans had a strong first round. They exchanged heavy shots on the feet, with Ivanov being the slightly faster fighter. While the Bulgarian Ivanov looked strong in the first round, the Polish Tybura came back stronger in the second and third to secure the win.

Interestingly, Ivanov holds a win over MMA icon Fedor Emelianenko, who retired earlier today. Ivanov famously beat “The Last Emperor” in a sambo bout.

Fans on Twitter shared their reactions to the heavyweight clash on UFC Vegas 68. Some of them did not appreciate the pace dropping in the third round. Tybura secured an early takedown and wrestled his way to victory.

However, there were some fans who did not appreciate the commentary from Michael Bisping and Laura Sanko.

Tybura said he was not optimistic about a title shot in his post-fight speech. Therefore, he said he was ready to fight whoever was available next.
