The UFC boss, Dana White has been enthralling UFC fans with his current awesome fight fixtures recently. While there are a number of other recent incidents that had him enlisted in the fans’ bad books. Many blamed the UFC supremo for the controversial exit of the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou. On the other hand, White’s brand new promotion, the ‘Power Slap League’ was bashed by the fans who refused to call it a sport. But White’s most infamous recent incident was undoubtedly the slap-scuffle that he had with his wife, Anne White, on New Year’s eve. The UFC boss was criticized by almost the entire MMA community following this distasteful act.

However, White was quick to control the damage and posted an apology video right after a few hours after this incident. But recently, the noted UFC Welterweight, Matt Brown, went vocal about this incident once more. He bashed ‘Endeavor’, the UFC’s parent company, due to their complete silence on such an incident involving the President of their own promotion.

Brown was shocked about Endeavor authorities not condemning Dana White’s act

Matt Brown went guns blazing in his appearance on ‘The Fighter vs. The Writer’. He opinionated that what White had done was definitely wrong. But, he also perceived the Endeavor authorities’ silence as a more heinous act. As reported by ‘MMA Fighting’, Brown stated, “The whole issue here, in my opinion, Endeavor, they’re the ones f****** up here just staying silent. They haven’t done anything, haven’t said anything. Shame on them. I think that’s what it comes down to.”

‘The Immortal’ also fired shots at the Endeavor supremo, Ari Emmanuel for his inactivity regarding this image-tarnishing incident.

Brown mentioned, “That’s where I look at whether it’s Ari [Emanuel], I think he’s the head guy right? [He’s] in charge. That’s some of the things you have to do as a leader of a business, you have to make these hard decisions. At minimum just a statement.”

Matt Brown backed Dana White due to his repenting behavior

Brown sounded cross with Dana White’s mocking tone while he answered questions about whether he would have to take any punishment due to his misconduct. But, Brown chose White as the more courageous one since he took the blame and accepted his fault publically.

But to my disappointment, I hardly found any followers of the sports to interact with. So I took it upon myself to do my part in popularizing the thrill and the agony behind the purest form of unarmed combat. At EssentiallySports, I try to bring the readers closer to the athletes and focus my coverage on exploring the human side of these martial artists. I’m a musician during my time free from reporting MMA. I operate as the lead vocalist of a rock band that aims to make their mark among the audiences with their original alternative-hard rock songs.
