Muhammad beamed with confidence post his win over ‘Durinho’. The Illinois native also mentioned ‘the GOAT’ for many fans and the current UFC heavyweight champ, Jon Jones, in his post-fight interview. It was understandable that the ninth consecutive win had the ’34-year-old’ on cloud nine. But most fans rather chose to differ from Muhammad’s iteration about the UFC heavyweight kingpin, Jon Jones.
While being interviewed by the famous, Joe Rogan, post his fight, Muhammad stated, “For me, I said man. You give me eight weeks, I’m gonna beat Jon Jones. You give me three weeks, I can beat any Welterweight in a row”.
However, numerous fans took Muhammad’s words as him getting overconfident due to his superb current run. The co-main event winner’s confidence was understandable after his exceptional winning streak. But most fans just couldn’t accept his words about ‘Bones’.

A chunk of fans also realized that Belal Muhammad had said all of this on purpose. The New Jersey crowd had expressed their dislike for the star during the fight. Hence, some fans realized that Belal only tried to prove his worth in the UFC with those words.
After a win, fighters are often given a free hand to talk or call out their next target. Although, ‘the 34-year-old’ didn’t make any callout.
