The UFC fight between Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones can never be forgotten. After all, people got to see two of the biggest names fight. While their fight took place back in 2013, it looks like they still don’t like each other. In a recent tweet, ‘Bones’ took a dig at not just Sonnen, but also directly addressed Dan Hooker.

Jones shared an article published by ‘MMA Fighting‘ which discussed Sonnen allegedly attacking a couple. Sharing the article in a now-deleted tweet, Jones wrote, “@danthehangman Brendan S. Is this what you guys are jumping down my throat about?”

Hooker was quick to give a response. He responded, “Explain how this makes you any less of a piece of sh*t.”

As already known by fans, Jones has been in trouble with the laws a few times in the past. This led to comparisons being made between him and Sonnen.

Back in December 2021, too, the fighter had criticized Chael Sonnen.

While Sonnen has retired from MMA, his presence in the sport is undeniable. On the other hand, Jones is looking for a comeback at the heavyweight division. After a successful long run at light heavyweight division, it is natural for him to look forward to new challenges. The fighter has also trained with Henry Cejudo for his return.

However, there is still uncertainty regarding when exactly fans will get to see him fight once again.

Whom should Jon Jones fight?

Jones, of course, wants to secure the heavyweight title upon his return. Thus, during the Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane bout, Jones was quite excited as he would get to assess their styles.

Later on, in another tweet, he tested the waters by calling out the greatest heavyweight for a fight, but did not name anyone. UFC fans began speculating whether Jones was talking about Stipe Miocic. Miocic lost against Ngannou at UFC 260. Thus, many felt it Jones versus Stipe would be an interesting fight.

However, fans will still have to wait and keep an eye on Jon Jones’ next move. He has lost just one fight in his entire career. In addition to this, he remains the UFC’s youngest champion. Thus, watching him fight after a long time would be a big deal. What do you think?
