Conor McGregor recently announced that he was back in the USADA’s testing pool. However, not everybody is buying into the former double champion’s claim. As such, Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s former manager, Ali Abdelaziz, took aim at McGregor and rubbished his claims on social media about entering the testing pool.

‘The Notorious’ was originally scheduled to make his UFC comeback in 2023. UFC CEO Dana White announced that Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler after the culmination of ‘The Ultimate Fighter 31’. However, things did not go to plan as USADA demanded that the Irishman join the testing pool for the mandatory period of six months. When he did as the doping agency suggested, many were still not on board!

The former UFC double champion recently shared a tweet about the news of his entry into the USADA pool. Furthermore, he also claimed that he plans to train at a high altitude to prepare for his comeback fight against Michael Chandler. This is a technique that many fighters use and set up camps at a high elevation. However, Ali Abdelaziz does not seem to believe that McGregor is telling the truth.

There were many rumors as to why it took Conor McGregor so much time to enlist in the testing pool. Some suggested that he might be on steroids, given that the Irishman added a considerable amount of muscle during his time away from the Octagon. But now that he’s in it, Ali Abdelaziz dismissed those claims. He replied to McGregor’s tweet and said, “Trash.” It does not seem like Abdelaziz and McGregor are in each other’s good books since they have had beef for a long time. Let us take a look at that front.

A look at McGregor’s beef with Abdelaziz

Ali Abdelaziz and Conor McGregor have had unresolved beef for a long time now. It was apparent during The Notorious’s rivalry with his former client and the UFC Hall of Famer, Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor made a lot of negative comments about the MMA manager and even took a jibe at his personal life.

In one of the wildest press conferences, Conor McGregor apparently butted heads with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager. Ali Abdelaziz worked as an informant for the NYPD before his entry into MMA. As such, he had to abandon his son, Noah, about whom Conor McGregor knew about. So at the press conference, the Irishman unleashed at the manager and reminded him of his son. McGregor said, “How’s Noah? How’s Noah? Yeah, shut your mouth.” Since then, Abdelaziz has never spoken anything good about the former UFC champion.
