Nurmagomedov made his debut only back in 2021. However, in a short space of time, he has left a mark, to the extent that certain fighters allegedly refused to fight him. The undefeated fighter was gunning for a fight for a substantial amount of time last year. Safe to say, the UFC was put on alert to get him a fight booked. Subsequently, a few weeks later, his manager, Ali Abdelaziz took his own X. account and revealed that the UFC was working on a fight for him. In addition, without revealing the opponent, he revealed that the date for this match-up is March 2nd. On X, he said, “Fight news March 2 who is excited?”

A week later, the fight was confirmed for Nurmagomedov. Needless to say, Nurmagomedov will now turn his focus to training for this bout. Think no further, as fans have come out in full force to make their opinions known, and it is quite blunt, to say the least.
