The UFC community just witnessed some spectacular fights between fighters at UFC 287. The fight card didn’t disappoint the fans as it was littered with great matchups and great fights. However, the Miami-Dade Arena witnessed a few unexpected losses as well. One of them was the loss of the youngest undefeated fighter on the UFC roster, and that’s none other than Raul Rosas Jr. The 18-year-old cemented his position on the UFC’s roster through Dana White’s Contender Series. He remained an undefeated fighter with a record of 6-0 until he fought against Christian Rodriguez. ‘El Nino Problema’ started the fight with great energy, and in the very first round, he tried to take down his opponent in an aggressive manner. However, Rodriguez saved his energy for the later part of the fight.

The 25-year-old’s takedown defense was highly skilled, in front of which the 18-year-old fell short. Finally, when Rosas managed to take down his opponent, he failed to dominate the takedown. Throughout the first round, ‘CeeRod’ kept his composure. On the other hand, by the time the bout reached the second round, Rosas Jr. was exhausted. In the second round, the 25-year-old came back stronger by using the same technique as Rosas Jr. At the end of round three, CeeRod’s hands were raised. This divided the MMA fighters into two factions. Fighters like Muhammad Mokaev appreciated the effort of the 18-year-old. Moreover, Mokaev welcomed Rosas Jr. to his training camp.
