The event would feature both Rose Namajunas and Barry taking on their own opponents on the same night. ‘Thug’ Namajunas and ‘HD’ Barry both shared the official poster of their showdown, reflecting their excitement about the fight. The event poster was also shared on the Instagram profile of the noted MMA athlete management and marketing house, ‘SuckerPunch Entertainment’. Their post garnered a massive number of reactions from the fans as well.

‘SuckerPunch Entertainment’ captioned their Instagram post as, Tune in Friday and watch @hypeordie and @rosenamajunas compete together in @furygrappling Pat will be facing Jonathan Pellot and Rose will be facing Gillian Robertson #represented.

It lured out a lot of reactions from the fans. But, quite a few of them implied that either both or any one of the power couple may end up defeated. One such follower wrote, “Love Rose but Gillian is likely to sub her”.

Another one predicted a defeat for both ‘Thug’ and ‘HD’ writing, both the namajunas girls gonna lose!”. His mockery of Barry was apparent.

One more user decided to run against Barry. He replied, “hope he get wristlocked”. Evidently, this user wanted Barry to be defeated by Jonathan Pellot. Despite a few positive ones, a large chunk of fans pointed out their poor grappling skills and thereby made such predictions.

A fan presented his opinion writing, Unfair match up.” The social media user probably missed out on the caption of the post and mistook the bout to be Namajunas vs Barry. A few other comments also showcased the same mistake.
