The main event saw a spectacular showdown, which ended with a knockout between the giants.

Curtis Blaydes (16-3-0), won by a furious knockout over Chris Daukaus in the second round.’The Razor’, known for his superior wrestling skills in the heavyweight division, pulled a right-hand punch from his arsenal and landed on Chris Daukaus‘s jaw, causing him to collapse to the ground, accompanied by a chain of hammer fists and elbows to his face.

Curtis Blaydes topped the contract with $670k from the fight, while Daukaus earned $225k at Fight Night, including bonuses, sponsorships, etc.

Blaydes, who currently ranks #4, has set his eyes on a title shot. However, the current heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has suffered a setback due to a knee injury.

Thus, ‘The Razor’ in his post-fight interview has called out for an interim title fight against Ciryl Gane (10-1-0) who currently ranks #1 in the heavyweight division and is a former interim UFC heavyweight champion.

Ciryl Gane lost to Francis Ngannou via unanimous decision in his title unification bout at UFC 270. As of now, Gane is a fierce opponent for Curtis Blaydes.
