Unseen Friendship Between Charles Oliveira & UFC’s Cutman Brad Tate Is Winning Over the Internet

There have been many friendships in the UFC. However, this one is surely one of the unique friendships between the former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira and the cut man Brad Tate.

Usually in the UFC, a cut man rubs vaseline on the fighter’s face before the fight and is also responsible for quickly treating the fighter’s injuries in between the fights. However, cut man Brad Tate has something more than that with the Brazilian lightweight fighter Charles Oliveira.

‘Do Bronx’ and Tate are good friends and their friendship has been growing over the years. Fight fans have even witnessed their relationship during Oliveira’s fight.

In a video recently uploaded by XcellentMMA Clips, we can clearly see how the two have gone from working in the same promotion to being one of the best friends in the venture.

In the video, we can see Oliveira and Tate interacting with each other before the fights. There have been times were the former lightweight champion lifted the cut man inside the UFC octagon to celebrate his wins. This proves how close the men are to each other.

What is next for Charles Oliveira after he lost his title

‘Do Bronx’ recently lost his lightweight gold strap at UFC 274 after he failed to make weight for the main event. However, he defeated the challenger in the first round of the fight.

Hence, he still stands at the number one position in the lightweight division. This makes him a viable prospect for the title fight next. However, Oliveira will still need a partner to dance with inside the cage.

Only Beneil Dariush and Islam Makhachev are the only top contenders in the lightweight division who have had a good run in the promotion. Hence, these two opponents can make a viable opponent for the Brazilian.
