Israel Adesanya takes a jibe at Sean Strickland’s sparring video

A controversial video from Strickland’s training session has come to light. In the short clip, ‘Tarzan’ can be seen aggressively sparring with his partner. Towards the end of the clip, Strickland knocks his partner down. Usually, fighters go easy in sparring sessions and try not to hurt their counterparts. Strickland, known for his unapologetic personality, clearly did not follow this rule.

Israel Adesanya chooses his “One of the Most Important Fights in Sporting History”

There is not an ounce of doubt in the fact that Israel Adesanya takes all his fights very seriously. The two-time UFC middleweight champ has been actively fighting for the last few years and has faced some of the toughest opponents in the octagon. Recently, he discussed a future fight that, according to him, will hold immense significance for the sport of MMA.

Surprisingly, he was not referring to his UFC 293 fight against Strickland when he said this. Instead, he was hinting at a potential title fight against fellow UFC fighter Dricus Du Plessis. “Let’s see if he (Du Plessis) shows up, but also, I’ll see how I feel. I’ll see how I feel. Um, I do want that fight. I feel like that would be one of the most important fights in sporting history”, Adesanya said, in an interview with the MMAJunkie.
