Usman is now set to enter his twenty-first MMA fight at UFC 268 in Madison Square Garden. He will enter a rematch against Colby Covington for the UFC welterweight title.

Ahead of the fight, Joe Rogan provided his thoughts on ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’.

On his podcast (The Joe Rogan Experience) he said, “I think Kamaru is like a champion of champions. I think he’s in this all-time great category… I think he got a real argument that he is right now the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport. If you look at what his accomplishments are.”

Kamaru Usman is close to breaking Anderson Silva’s record

Kamaru Usman has been absolutely unstoppable in his entire professional fighting career. He has yet to be stopped inside the UFC octagon. Anderson Silva currently holds the longest winning streak in the UFC, i.e. 16 wins.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ is only three wins away from breaking Anderson Silva’s record for the highest winning streak. If Usman manages to beat Colby Covington at UFC 268, then he will be just one behind ‘The Spider’.
