Welterweight fighter Vicente Luque is all set to face Joaquin Buckley in his next fight. The 32-year-old currently holds a record of 22-9-1 in his career. Luque is currently the #11 ranked welterweight in the division and will look to cement his place. However, he must be at his best when he takes on 29-year-old Buckley.

UFC welterweight Vicente Luque and his wife Silveira have been together since their teenage years. The pair first met when the fighter was just 17 years old. Now it has been more than fifteen years that they have been married to each other. Luque and his wife Carol tied the knot on March 16, 2019, in a private ceremony that included their friends and family members. The venue for the wedding was in the Federal district of Brasilia. Luque and his wife are very active on social media and keep their fans informed about their day-to-day activities.

The couple recently took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their baby boy. Luque and Silveira welcomed their newborn son on May 5, 2021. They named their son Bento and his arrival was announced with a heartfelt Instagram post by Silveira. Now with his family fully complete, the welterweight fighter will look to win the much-awaited title. The 32-year-old had to wait a long time before his next fight. However, he will now look to keep his winning momentum going when he enters Octagon on Sunday.

‘The Silent Assassin’ made a return to the Octagon in August 2023 after recovering from a serious injury. The 32-year-old injured had earlier himself in his fight against Geoff Neal. He then defeated the UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos to re-establish himself in the division. However, he suffered one more setback after his fight with Ian Garry at UFC 296 was canceled. Garry went through a serious case of pneumonia, which forced him to withdraw from the fight, thus ruining his chances of getting into the limelight.

Luque was then booked by the UFC to take on wrestling powerhouse Sean Brady for his next fight. Much to the despair of everyone, Brady suffered an injury which has now forced the 32-year-old to take on Joaquin Buckley next. ‘New Mansa’ a former middleweight fighter, dropped down to welterweight in 2023 and currently holds a record of 2-0 in the division.
