VIDEO: Anderson Silva Shares a Heartwarming Sparing Session With a Kid

Anderson Silva is all set to face boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in a boxing match. The fight is all set to happen at the ‘Tribute to the kings event’ on Saturday. Ahead of this much anticipated fight, ‘The Spider’ was seen hosting an open workout at ‘La Plaza De La Liberacion’ in Mexico.

During the workout Silva showcased his skills and also interacted with the many fans present there. This fight would be Silva’s first since his loss at UFC Vegas 12 against Uriah Hall. Since the fight Silva has expressed his desire to return to combat sports for one last fight.

After much wait, finally a fight against Chavez Jr was finalized. Silva has been training extensively for the fight and his open workout in Mexico was a part of the same. During his workout Silva interacted with his fans and during the end of the workout, brought a young fan into the ring with him.

We can hear the former UFC champion asking the fan if he wants to enter the ring. Then ‘The Spider’ gets into the ring with the young boy and starts sparing with him. We can see the kid enjoying the moment and the crowd cheering every punch he throws.

Anderson Silva is an absolute legend in MMA, ‘The Spider’ is often considered the greatest UFC fighter of all time. The fighter holds the record for the longest reign (2457 days) in UFC history. Silva has also been a trained boxer and can hold his own in the ring.
