After his win at UFC 270, both fighters have won one fight against each other, as their first fight was a draw. It is quite possible that we may see a decider fight between the two flyweights since they are technically 1-1 against each other.

Some may have noticed that the Brazilian looked a bit bigger on the fight night compared to what he looked like at the weigh-ins.

Figueiredo gained 19.2 pounds between the weigh-in and UFC 270. ‘Daico’ stepped on the scale at 124 pounds and entered the octagon at 143.2 pounds.

Brandon Moreno on fighting Deiveson Figueiredo again

After winning the fight at UFC 270, and being crowned the undisputed UFC flyweight champion of the world, Figueiredo was still hungry to take on Moreno once more. He called out his opponent for the fourth fight in his home country, Mexico. Not only did he call him out, but he also consoled him about the loss he suffered and offered him some inspiring words.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, the former champion, Brandon Moreno, responded to the champion’s call-out. He said,” I would love to go to Mexico City and fight against him. That would be awesome for me, for the Mexican people, and very brave for Figueiredo. A lot of credit for that.”

“But I understand he has the ball. If he wants to go to Brazil. If he wants to go other places, I don’t care, man,” he added.
