The Dagestan native was an absolute mauler in the UFC and would take his lightweight foes down with relative ease. In fact, his imposing presence on the canvas is believed to be unmatched by many despite the fact that he’s retired.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s prowess in the grappling realm was once again on full display when he was seen wrestling a fan. In a video uploaded by XcellentMMA Clips, Nurmagomedov can be seen locking horns with a fan on the mat. Nurmagomedov’s supremacy on the mat is clearly on display as he breaks down the fan with precise skills.

Several fans commented on the video and they were in awe of the way ‘The Eagle’ tactically handled his opponent. Without being overly offensive, he used technique to maneuver his way into position and secure dominant position. The fan who decided to step on the mat with Khabib Nurmagomedov soon realized that he was thoroughly outmatched.

Seeing Nurmagomedov showcase his skillset on the mat made fans long to see him compete again. ‘The Eagle’ walked away from the sport in October 2020 and left behind a legion of fans who want to see more. The fact that he left the sport still on top of his game has led to the belief that he will return to action again.

Moreover, Khabib Nurmagomedov retired with a record of 29-0 and fans want to see him push to 30-0. Such a record is unheard of in MMA, as even the very best suffer losses up to this point in their career. However, Nurmagomedov managed to defeat everyone he came across and did so in a rather dominant fashion.

As it stands, there’s no indication that Khabib Nurmagomedov plans to return to UFC action anytime soon. He is committed to bringing up other Russian fighters from his gym and building up a stable of credentialed champions. Not to mention, he is also busy promoting Eagle FC, his MMA promotion, which is coming to the U. S with some shows soon.
