VIDEO: Francis Ngannou Shares an Adorable Moment With Miesha Tate’s Son

Francis Ngannou is one of the most entertaining fighters on the roster right now. The heavyweight champion is an absolute knockout artist. We know him for having the hardest punch in the UFC, which has helped him reach the top of his division. 

As of January 2021, Francis Ngannou stands fourth in the UFC men’s pound for pound rankings. Ngannou is a gigantic man. He weighs about 113 kgs and is over 6 feet and 3 inches tall. 

The heavyweight champion recently shared a heartwarming moment with his fans through his YouTube channel. He shared a clip of him meeting the former women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate and her baby, Daxton Wylder Nuñez.

Ngannou shared the behind-the-scenes footage at his training camp at Xtreme Couture MMA in Las Vegas. The champion was looking sharper than ever and was practicing his skills with his coaches. Ngannou was working on his cardio, grappling, and striking for his upcoming bout at UFC 270.

What’s next for Francis Ngannou?

Francis Ngannou will be taking on his former teammate, Ciryl Gane, at the upcoming event of UFC 270. The two trained under the tutelage of coach Fernand Lopez at the MMA Factory in Paris, France. The fighter will look to unify the UFC heavyweight title at UFC 270.

It is said that coach Lopez had a falling out with Ngannou, which was the reason for both of them to split up. Ever since Ngannou left the gym, the rivalry between Gane and Ngannou just seemed to increase.

There was another incident that added fuel to the fire. Ngannou’s snub with his former team backstage at the set of UFC 268 at Madison Square Garden. A camera captured the heavyweight champion walking past his former teammates and coach and not even acknowledging their presence or looking at them.

This sparked up a lot of controversies and added to the excitement of their upcoming bout at UFC 270. The fight will be the main event of the card, which is set to take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
