Many MMA fans around the world widely consider Khabib Nurmagomedov as the best lightweight fighter in the history of the UFC. ‘The Eagle’ has one of the most dominant runs during his prime days as a fighter. The Dagestani has absolutely destroyed every opponent he’s faced in the octagon. Some of the fighters on his resume include Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor, and Justin Gaethje.
However, in a conversation with Snoop Dogg, Joe Rogan put forth a notable point. Joe Rogan pointed out that Khabib might not be the best lightweight of all time. He backed Brazilian fighter BJ Penn as a worthy competitor for that title.

Rogan added, “everyone was scared of BJ for a while. He beat Matt Hughes, he beat Matt Hughes in his prime…He was an elite grappler too.”
BJ Penn holds a professional record of 16 wins and 14 losses. Whereas, Khabib Nurmagomedov holds an outstanding professional record of 29-0.
