“He did not defend it though. Okay, here’s the deal. He was done. He was beaten down. Khabib f*cked him up. Khabib smashed him. But there was a lot of people that don’t train, and this is very frustrating to me. There are many people that don’t train that think that that was something you shouldn’t tap to. They’re out of their f*cking mind. Okay? That is what’s called a fulcrum choke, okay? It’s not necessarily a choke, but it chokes you” Joe Rogan said.

“But it really feels like your f*cking head is going to pop off, right?”

“What he’s doing is he’s wrapping around the face and you don’t have to go under the jaw. You can get it on the chin, especially if you’re as strong as Khabib. Then you clamp your hands together and you’re pressing your forearms against his back. So you have got this and you got the forearm against his back and you’re doing this. Just leave it. Your f*cking head is just like,” Joe Rogan concluded.

Joe Rogan was one of the ring-side commentators during the biggest fight in UFC history. Conor McGregor fought Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 for the lightweight title.

The moment the fight started, Khabib Nurmagomedov went for the takedown and got it. Nurmagomedov then landed a brutal right hand on McGregor and beat him down for the rest of the second round.

The fight was a standup battle in the third round. Nurmagomedov then followed up to finish Conor McGregor via Fulcrum choke and defended his lightweight title.

Joe Rogan, who watched that fight closely, was very particular in explaining the ending sequence of the fight. Joe Rogan, while explaining, says that it is very frustrating to see fans saying that McGregor had tapped too early.
