VIDEO: Jorge Masvidal Trips and Falls While Attempting a Softball Catch

Jorge Masvidal is one of the most famous MMA fighters in the world. The UFC welterweight has been fighting almost all his adult life and even got into street fights. He made his professional MMA debut back in 2003 and has been in 50 pro fights.

The UFC signed ‘Gamebred’ in 2013. Masvidal, despite being a tough fighter, couldn’t get a winning streak going, and wasn’t very popular. However, all of that changed with his five-second knockout win over Ben Askren. He landed a brutal flying knee and hit him with some ground-and-pound, and earned the fastest knockout in UFC history. Since then, he has seen his stock go up.

However, being good a great fighter doesn’t mean the skills will carry to another game. Masvidal, earlier this year took part in the All-Star Celebrity Soft Ball Game. In a recently released video, during one play, Masvidal was chasing the ball to try to catch it. But he couldn’t reach it and had an embarrassing fall. The video got the Twitter trolls going, who went made fun of him.

However, Jorge Masvidal isn’t the only one to face such embarrassment in another sport.

Conor McGregor trolled for the embarrassing first pitch

‘The Notorious‘ Conor McGregor has been on the sidelines ever since UFC 264. He broke his tibia in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier. The injury happened in July, and he immediately had surgery done. While out, he was seen at a baseball game in September and also threw the first pitch.

Even though he’s one of the most popular MMA fighters of all time, he failed terribly at throwing the pitch. The ball went flying over the player’s head and hit the protective netting over the fans.

The fans brutally trolled McGregor for his first pitch. Fellow UFC fighter Justin Gaethje also took to Twitter to make fun of him and said, “I cannot stop laughing at this. Every MMA fighter that has represented us doing this has looked terrible but this takes the cake.”
