The UFC bantamweight division is one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC. The division is a blend of experienced fighters and some new blood. Former UFC champions are also added to the weight class making it as stacked as ever. The skill sets of the fighters are diverse and are a perfect blend, which makes the fights in the division competitive. Furthermore, one may predict that the fighters would not want to reveal certain aspects of their game plan or physique to their opponents in such a division. However, the top five ranked fighters do not believe this thought and were seen openly discussing their current weight. In a video released by UFC, Aljamain Sterling, Sean O’Malley, and Merab Dvalishvili caught up with each other discussing current weight.

This led to Sterling commenting, “I don’t know how you guys stay so skinny? I eat one and I’m at 170 (170 pounds).”

The clip concluded with Merab Dvalishvili pointing at his fellow bantamweights and saying, “He’s (Sean O’Malley) skinny. He’s (Aljamain Sterling) strong.”

One interesting fact which was revealed was that Sterling weighs 10-15 pounds more than the other two top-five-ranked fighters. All three competitors seemed to be in a good mood during the conversation. Moreover, they were comfortable with revealing the information to each other since Sean O’Malley is a direct rival of both Dvalishvili and Sterling.
