Eagle FC just held its first event in the United States, and it was a tremendous success. It had a great card and some great fighters featured on it. One fighter that was on the card was the UFC veteran Yorgan De Castro.
The former UFC heavyweight took on Shaun Asher on the preliminary card at Eagle FC 44. ‘The Mad Titan’, who was looking to make a solid impression, did just that. He needed just 64 seconds to dispatch his opponent and get the win. After the fight, the Portuguese-Cape Verdean fighter shared a beautiful moment with his daughter. He brought her into the cage and shared a video on Twitter.
With the video, he wrote, “Everything I do. I do it for you. My everything.”

This was De Castro’s second fight post his UFC career, and it was a quick victory. He countered a takedown attempt from Asher and caught him in a guillotine choke to get the tap.

With the win, he is now on a two-fight win streak. Prior to this fight, he competed at CES 65 and won. He went into that fight on the back of a three-fight losing streak that saw the UFC hand him his marching orders.
Jake Paul offered a contract to fight in Eagle FC
It looks like Khabib Nurmagomedov is serious about signing Jake Paul to Eagle FC. The former UFC lightweight champion and the co-owner of Eagle FC recently said that they have sent a contract to the boxer.
Nurmagomedov, during the post-fight conference after Eagle FC 44, shed some light on it. He said, “We offered him, we offered him. Now we’re waiting for his answer. If he wants, we’re here.”
This comes after Paul said he would be interested in switching over to MMA. ‘The Problem Child‘ even replied to an earlier offer made by Nurmagomedov.
‘The Eagle’ had said that the doors of Eagle FC were open for Paul and his team. The YouTuber turned boxer replied, “Deal. only if I fight you first.”
