Bellator MMA: Rise to the top
The organization led by veteran promoter Scott Coker rarely fails to deliver on bringing in a varied talent pool on a consistent basis. Like 11-0 Usman Nurmagomedov, the promotion continually brings in fighters who have the potential to make some massive moves. UFC featherweight, Zabit Magomedsharipov’s brother, also came into the promotion.
However, the acquisition of big names from the UFC roster still remains a key feature of Bellator’s recruitment strategy. Former title challenger, Yoel Romero, was one such entrant after he parted ways with the UFC. Despite the fact that he’s on a three-fight skid, anyone in the MMA community will attest to the fact that he’s as dangerous as ever.
