It was Michael Bisping who shared the quirky request of his buddy Vin Diesel with the UFC community. Bisping and Vin Diesel are great friends. The Fast and The Furious star was fascinated by Conor McGregor winning the championship in two divisions. The entire UFC community was not able to stop themselves from having goosebumps when McGregor threw both belts on his shoulders after defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.

The moment Conor McGregor proved himself

Michael Bisping was sharing his thoughts on his YouTube channel where he discussed the current trend where every fighter wants to be a champion in two weight divisions. He said, “Everybody wants to be a champ-champ. It’s almost like being the champion of the world in one weight division is not cool enough anymore, you know, and it all started with Conor McGregor when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.” The count remarked how cool McGregor looked with the two belts.

In the further conversation, he added “I sound like an a***ole when I say this but I’m friends with Vin Diesel and we were flying back in a private jet and Vin Diesel said Mike you got to get two belts you’re gonna be the champ-champ because Connor’s made that look old school. Conor made that look easier. You got to be a two-weight champ.”

However, ‘The Count’s buddy cannot be blamed for asking to win a double championship similar to Conor McGregor. Nonetheless, Bisping too has achieved splendid victories in his MMA career. The retired UFC star won the belt in the middleweight division and was a former Cage Rage light heavyweight champion. Furthermore, he became the ultimate winner of The Ultimate Fighter 3 Light Heavyweight Tournament. In 2019, the British fighter earned his place in the UFC Hall of Fame.
