Even though the Dagestan-born fighter has become a top name in the world of mixed martial arts, his personal life and childhood are relatively low key.

In the wonderful video, Nurmagomedov, though is hardly recognizable, can be seen taking part in an artistic dance with the other school kids. The video appears to be taken from the very young days of Nurmagomedov.

Nurmagomedov, 29-0, retired from the sport of MMA with an unprecedented record. No other fighter has retired undefeated in MMA after competing at such a high level.

During his UFC run, ‘The Eagle’ has set astonishing records. Though Nurmagomedov got only three ‘performance of the night’ bonuses from the UFC, during his 13 fight stint, he barely lost rounds on the judges’ scorecard. He was a dominant force like never seen before.

Chiefly, Nurmagomedov became the most successful lightweight fighter in the UFC, with most title defenses and most consecutive victories in the UFC lightweight division.

Interestingly, known as a grappler, Nurmagomedov has a striking defense of 65% inside the UFC Octagon. Also, Nurmagomedov was never dropped, cut, or bruised in any of his UFC fights. All these attributes make him the GOAT of the UFC. If not, it definitely makes him the GOAT of the lightweight division.

The Russian fighter has done a tremendous job inside the octagon. His game plan was never a secret to any of his opponents. However, still, no one could stop it. Nurmagomedov pushed the pace and got his opponent near the fence; Moments later he had a level change, with either a single or double or even a clinch to a body lock.

Nurmagomedov followed a basic strategy, but executed it perfectly. Thus, he deserved to receive the honor of being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
