Amanda Nunes and her partner Nina Ansaroff are set to become parents imminently. The latter stepped away from the UFC almost a year ago as she aspired to become a mother. The couple announced Ansaroff’s pregnancy in March and her baby bump has only gotten bigger.

‘The Lioness’ took a step back from fighting this year and made just one defense. She did so to spend time with her wife. Now, as the delivery date approaches, Nunes experienced what being heavily pregnant is as she shared a video titled “Nina for 10 minutes”

Here, the fighter placed a soccer ball underneath her t-shirt and walked out of her room. She had a smile on her face and her arms were by her side as though she was wondering what she had to do. An amused Ansaroff said, “Now you gotta do all the things that I had to do.”

The challenge would differ significantly from what Nunes faced throughout her career, but she gamely took them on.

First, Amanda Nunes had to sit down on the floor. She managed the challenge well as she supported the ‘baby’. However, her posture was way different from what a normal sit down on the floor would look like.

Later, in getting back up, she faced a minor issue as the catch was to “not crush the ‘baby'”. She got onto her knees, steadied herself, and then regained a vertical base. This amused Ansaroff, who presented Nunes with another task.

Ansaroff kept chuckling and suggested that Nunes turn onto her left side if it was uncomfortable. She complied and learned that it too was uncomfortable. As a result, she needed to turn back. The exercises gave her an understanding of the difficulties Ansaroff faced over the last few months.

Finally, Nunes mowed the lawn and didn’t seem to face any issues in doing so despite the ‘baby bump.’
