Tony Ferguson and his rise from the humble days of The Ultimate Fighter season 13 has been nothing short of magical. The UFC star had to work from the bottom and rack up victories after victories to break into the top 10 of the lightweight division.

Rooting for the Mexican mixed martial artist to fail proved to be a wish that never came true. As Ferguson aced through the entire gauntlet of the tournament, knocking each opponent out with a precise striking display.

The season also featured a massive heavyweight match-up between Brock Lesnar and Junior Dos Santos. Being a key member of Lesnar’s team, Ferguson managed to beat the competition and came out with his hands raised as ‘The Ultimate Fighter’.

Now with 4-fight-losing-skid, Ferguson must find a way to snag this loss and carefully choose his next match-up. A fight with Conor McGregor is always on the card, but if the 38-year-old wants to campaign for a world title, then Rafael dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev. Both Brazilian fighters are on a collision course and the loser of that bout could become an opponent for the American mixed martial artist.
