Former UFC bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt, took to social media and shared a rather unpleasant run-in with Southwest Airlines. ‘No Love’ relayed the news to his followers that he was being kicked out of the airline and he filmed the process. Garbrandt appeared livid as he paced around the airline and filmed the cabin crew as well. Moreover, he picked up a quick shot of the pilots in the cockpit who weren’t wearing masks either. The whole experience seemed rather contentious from the minimal footage that was gathered by the former undisputed 135-pound champion.

The fight was virtually a must-win, and he pulled off a ‘KO of the Year’ candidate at the Apex Facility.
There was a certain portion of the MMA community that had written off Cody Garbrandt following his slew of losses. However, with a renewed approach to the fight game, it seems like there are championships lined up in his future. It’s about figuring out the right fights that will help direct him back to the undisputed championship.

Garbrandt has a massive fan-following, and the UFC has shown their faith to push him towards gold in the past. Additionally, Garbrandt is one of the few bantamweights who have introduced their name to make a run at flyweight. A run at Deiveson Figueiredo’s flyweight title is an option as Cody Garbrandt builds a winning streak.
