Conor McGregor is one of the most skilled people on the mic, as he surely knows how to deal with MMA reporters’ questions and always has an epic response ready for them.

Similarly, during an exchange with the famous MMA reporter, Ariel Helwani, ‘The Notorious’ had the fans laughing with his hilarious response to Helwani’s theory.

After becoming the featherweight champion of the UFC, McGregor was preparing for his welterweight debut against the star, Nate Diaz, in 2016. For this, the Irishman had trimmed his head and gone bald, which is his signature look since his debut.

It was then Helwani asked McGregor during a pre-fight press conference if the hairstyle was a throwback to the old self. “I couldn’t help but notice and I apologize if I am looking too far into things,” Helwani said. 

“But you did shave your head after your last fight. And talking to your team, they said that this is sort of a throwback to the early Conor McGregor,” Helwani asked.

‘The Notorious’ responded by saying, “Was looking in the mirror and going to wake up my hair’s f**king annoying me. See you later (while making a trimming sound).”

On another occasion, when McGregor appeared on Helwani’s show, The MMA Hour, the Irishman asked the host if he wanted to come to his big party. After Helwani accepted the invitation, then McGregor cunningly replied, “But no fat chicks. Don’t bring Mrs. Helwani.”

Although Helwani was shocked by McGregor’s line, he played it cool and they never had bad blood between them.
