Conor McGregor explains why he bought an Irish pub

McGregor purchased a bar in Ireland known as ‘The Black Forge Inn.’ The fighter is often seen spending his time at the pub and also has been promoting it on social media. Ever since he took over the restaurant, McGregor has changed the way the pub works and has incorporated the finest of ingredients to provide a great experience to his customers.

In a recent interview, McGregor explained why he bought the pub and also shared his experience of the process. He said, “I did not buy this pub for profit. I did not have any type of profit in my head in this. You know I would have been happy losing money here you know, to be honest with you. I just wanted to buy it, you know. Redo it.”

He explained, “It’s a place I’ve been coming here for many, many years. Myself and my fiancee. And you know it’s our families love it. It’s been a place we’ve visited since you know our teens.”

This pub is only one of the many investments McGregor has made for himself after investing in his passion. The fighter’s Irish whiskey company, Proper Number 12, and his clothing brand are also some of the passionate interests that he’s turned into a stream of income.
