WATCH:- Da Un Jung Extends His Win Streak With a First Round Demolition of Kennedy Nzechukwu at UFC Vegas 42

Da Un Jung started UFC Vegas 42 preliminary card with a bang.

The South Korean fighter took on Kennedy Nzechukwu in a light heavyweight bout. Both men were trading punches in the middle of the octagon and Jung landed an elbow that wobbled his opponent. After that, he went after Nzechukwu and kept landing destructive elbows before getting a stoppage.

Jung put up an impressive performance and is now undefeated in his last 15 fights. He has got 11 of his 15 wins via a way of T/KO. This win is surely going to get him some traction. Jung is a prospect to look out for in 2022. If he keeps up his impressive run, he’ll soon fight bigger names in the division.

In the post-fight interview with Michael Bisping, he said, “We both recognized we are both slow starters, but I felt his footwork was a little bit slower than mine. So what I wanted to do, I wanted to tax his guard in the beginning, make him get his hands up and then start landing the elbows and the counter hook and it worked out.”

Fans loved Jung’s performance

The performance of the South Korean fighter amazed UFC fans. They took to Twitter to appreciate him and some even asked for him to get a ranked fight.

One fan wrote, “Da Un Jung is a f**king bully.”

A fan thought Jung was ready to enter the light heavyweight rankings. He is on an impressive run, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he gets a ranked fighter next.

And then there were fans who just appreciated the power in his strikes.

Da Un Jung sure made a statement at UFC Vegas 42. In the post-fight interview, when asked who he would like to fight next, he said everybody. UFC has a huge prospect in their hands, and it will be interesting to see how the matchmakers book him in the future.
