He stated that reducing his social media use has dramatically improved his life, and he feels much happier without it. Musk only likes to use Twitter, which serves as an avenue to keep tabs on the world and to interact with people directly.
However, he also talked about how disparaging comments on social media can kill your mood, but the 50-year-old businessman knows how to tackle it.
He said, ” I mean the vast number of negative comments, for the vast majority I just ignore them, the vast majority. Every now and then you draw in, it’s not good. Make mistakes, you can make some mistakes.”
Elon Musk knows the Internet cannot be defeated
While social media is a great place for celebrities to connect with their fans, it can get negative sometimes. Both Joe Rogan and Musk have a proper grasp over this fact and know the internet cannot be defeated. This further enhances the importance of using social media with extreme caution.
Rogan pinpointed how one wrong move can forever remain on the internet, which can sling a lot of mud your way,” Like I deleted it, nahhh not good enough. You have that thought, I am better than you. I never had that thought. You had that thought, you piece of s*t, look I saved it and I put it on my blog.”

Musk & Rogan went to great lengths to talk about how things remain on the internet forever and any comment you make can and will be used against you. While Rogan joked about how anything you say or do on the internet comes back to haunt you, Musk drew the comparison with high school, and how it tarnishes your image as a ‘permanent record’.
