In addition to this, Rogan, using slur words in the past, also resurfaced. This created lots of problems for him and Spotify. Several artists threatened to take down their work from Spotify because of their association with Rogan. While the situation may have cooled down comparatively, it is still a subject of debate.
Several people from the MMA world stood in his support. Now, Rod Blagojevich too has spoken about Rogan. The former Governor of Illinois was not happy with things the UFC commenter had said in the past. However, he also pointed out a few things that, according to him, Rogan did right.

Blagojevich said, “He’s fantastic. A great American hero.”
“He was very wrong in using them. … But I think he did a good job explaining it. I think he expressed sincerely his apologies for saying it. And I just think it’s wrong to cancel people.”
