UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou was also one of them. ‘The Predator’ was present at the UFC 263 event and met and congratulated Adesanya after.

Adesanya and Ngannou are two out of the three African-origin UFC champions. The welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is the third champion in UFC from the continent. The three fighters have always supported each other and are often present at ringside during each other’s events.
After the event, Adesanya and Ngannou met backstage and also posed together with their respective titles.

The three fighters from Africa have often shared their support for each other. Usman came to support Ngannou at the UFC 260 event where ‘The Predator’ became champion. Even outside the Octagon, the fighters always have high praise for one another.

Usman has often said he wouldn’t move to middleweight as long as Adesanya is champion. For his part, Ngannou has always claimed how proud he is of the fact that there are 3 champions from Africa.

Israel Adesanya also met Nick and Nate Diaz after UFC 263 win
Following his victory against Vettori, Adesanya also ran into Nick and Nate Diaz backstage. Diaz competed at the UFC 263 event and his brother was there to support him. ‘The Last Stylebender’ spotted Nate Diaz and approached the fighters and met him grace and respect.

While Adesanya successfully defended his title for the third time, Ngannou has not yet had his first title defense. ‘The Predator’ will, in most likelihood, face Derrick Lewis in his next fight. Whoever Ngannou faces, we are sure Adesanya and Usman will be there to support him.
