Israel Adesanya made his fourth defense of his middleweight championship at UFC 271. Though he won on the judges’ scorecard, he ended up spending some time on the canvas. Although he took minimal damage on the ground, Khamzat Chimaev believes he would exploit this weakness of the champion.
During the UFC 271 post-fight press conference, ‘The Last Stylebender’ had a straightforward response for the ‘Borz’.

He simply said, ‘Okay,’ when asked for a response to Chimaev’s comment.
The champion’s stone-cold response shows he is not worried about Chimaev at the moment.
Looking at the past, ‘The Last Stylebender‘ discloses his next opponent in the post-fight octagon interview; Keeping the trend, he hinted at a fight with Jared Cannonier in June, this year.
Earlier, ‘Borz‘ had said, “Adesanya easy money for me, 0 wrestling, 1 round I’m gonna kill him!”
However, the tweet violated Twitter guidelines. Hence, it is removed. Chimaev has a language barrier, which sometimes can come up as funny. However, sometimes it may be objectionable.
Can Khamzat Chimaev take Israel Adesanya down?
The Chechnya-born fighter has outstanding wrestling. However, he has not spent enough time in the middleweight division to conclude if he could take down the champion. The middleweight champion has a great take-down defense. Thus, the fight may end up on the feet.

Besides the wrestling, ‘The Wolf’ has shown decent hands inside the octagon. Though the fighter is looking for a run in the welterweight division, the middleweight division is not strange territory for him. However, he has some work to do in the welterweight division.
The champion ‘The Last Stylebender’ will try to improve more in between the fights. With ‘The Reaper‘ putting him down on multiple occasions, he will fix the issue when the ‘Borz’ arrives.
