UFC fans witnessed an intriguing middleweight title clash between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori at UFC 263. It’s no secret that the pair had bad blood between them. Hence, ‘The Last Stylebender’ took the opportunity to troll Vettori on multiple occasions. One such occasion also included their fight at UFC 263.

Vettori only had a few moments in the fight by scoring few takedowns. However, Adesanya showed great takedown defense. Besides those few moments, the fight was all Adesanya, as he outworked ‘The Italian Dream’, dominating him with multiple leg kicks.

Those leg kicks slowed down Vettori’s takedown attempts. Hence, he was leaning forward on Adesanya for the most part of the last round.

By the end of the last round, an exhausted Vettori still threw a few punches from the inside. However, it had no impact on Adesanya, who took this opportunity to mock his opponent.

‘The Last Stylebender’ pretended that he was crying and was in agony just to make it look like those punches hurt him. 

In the end, Adesanya claimed a unanimous decision victory, successfully defending his UFC middleweight title for the third time.

Israel Adesanya made Marvin Vettori lose his temper

As already mentioned above, Adesanya trolled Vettori on multiple occasions. One of these occasions included the UFC 263 pre-fight press conference.

The pair went back and forth, having heated arguments. There was trash-talking from both sides. However, Adesanya got the best of ‘The Italian Dream’. There was a moment where Vettori lost his temper and just wanted to hit Adesanya. Meanwhile, ‘The Last Stylebender’ appeared calm and was enjoying that moment.

Israel Adesanya displayed impressive skills and proved that he is the best UFC middleweight champion of this generation at UFC 263. He completely obliterated Vettori, and he plans to do the same against his future opponents. It is expected that he will fight Robert Whittaker next.
