Israel Adesanya‘s documentary depicts the life of the fighter in the rawest form possible. The UFC featherweight, Max Holloway, is totally in love with the documentary, as it inspired him in a number of ways. Back in June, Adesanya’s documentary, ‘Stylebender,’ made its debut at the Tribeca Film Festivals in New York. The documentary portrays the life of Adesanya from his childhood to adulthood, where he evolved into one of the best fighters in the UFC.

‘Stylebender’ caught Holloway’s eye due to Adesanya’s willingness to be vulnerable on camera. The documentary highlighted the importance of the mental health of a fighter through the story of the Nigerian star. Recently, the UFC Middleweight champion came forward to confess the most unexpected factor about the documentary. After coming across Adesanya’s confession, Holloway made a surprising promise to the fight fans.

Max Holloway gives a promise after watching ‘Stylebender’

Israel Adesanya’s documentary will be released on September 28. Ahead of the same, Adesanya took to his social media handle to share his thoughts about the documentary. He wrote, “Even if I wasn’t the protagonist, I’d implore everybody to see this film (especially men). We can’t keep living like this, fake masculinity and lack of emotional intelligence…let me show you brothers a true way of being, love and care for yourself. Always loveAdesanya confessed that even if he were not the protagonist of ‘Stylebender’, he would have asked everyone to watch the movie as it openly talks about sensitive issues like masculinity and mental health.

After coming across the UFC Middleweight champion’s words about his upcoming movie, Holloway wrote, “You’ll see a side of @stylebender you’ve never seen before. I believe most of the internet need to watch it for a reality check. Respect bradda.” The two have always shared a lot of respect for each other. ‘The Blessed’ promoting ‘Stylebender’ is one such example of Holloway’s love and respect for the middleweight kingpin.

On several occasions, Max Holloway has proven that he wanted Adesanya’s documentary to be a huge hit. The love that the Hawaiian fighter is showing has touched Adesanya to a great level. Back in June, ‘The Last Stylebender’ took to social media to write some kind words about Holloway. He wrote that the two fighters share a great bond with each other.
