However, this time, Rogan was left in an awkward situation as he was fact-checked while talking about Biden’s reference to the Revolutionary War!

During the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) MMA Show Episode no. 151  with UFC fighter Bo Nickal, Rogan claimed that Biden had made a statement where the president attributed the loss of the Revolutionary War to a lack of airports! During the episode, Rogan expressed his concerns about people who had voted for Biden, questioning their decision in light of the President’s statements. He stated, “They’re like, what did I do, and what I did I choose”.

Bo Nickal also joined in, emphasizing the difficulty of supporting Biden when his interviews often made little sense. Rogan then brought up what he assumed was Biden’s recent comment about the Revolutionary War, highlighting the claim that a lack of airports was a factor in losing the war.

Expressing disbelief, Rogan stated, “Did you hear what he said yesterday, or like a couple days ago, he’s talking about the Revolutionary War, he’s like one of the reasons why we lost the Revolutionary War, one of the problems with the Revolutionary War was they didn’t have enough airports!”

The conversation then delved into the media’s role in protecting Biden, with Rogan criticizing the fear of Trump and Republicans that seemed to influence public opinion. However, Jamie, the producer of the JRE, then revealed that Rogan was wrong about the situation entirely!

He presented a clip where Joe Biden can be seen making the statements above but they were about Donald Trump making the gaffe about airports in the Revolutionary War in the first place! Jamie also clarified that it was not fake but explained that Trump had made a similar statement in 2019 and showed Rogan the video of Trump’s speech.

This revelation added a layer of complexity to the conversation, underscoring the importance of fact-checking and context in discussions about political figures. Nevertheless, Rogan is no stranger to making statements that ruffle feathers as the UFC color commentator recently also called out non-UFC fighters for their lack of viewers as well!

Rogan claims fighters outside UFC wasting their time

In the episode with Nickal, Rogan also questioned the value of fighters outside the UFC, expressing concern that they might be wasting their careers. While he acknowledged good fighters in other organizations he believes they lack the audience of the UFC.

Rogan stated, “Because I see these elite fighters that are fighting in Bellator or PFL, and I’m like, ‘Hey, guys, no one’s watching.’”

While some fighters have moved from UFC to Bellator or PFL, the traffic has been limited. Rogan also admired champions in different organizations but highlighted the unique prestige of being a UFC champion. He also described the dream of having Bruce Buffer announce your fight in the UFC as an unparalleled experience.

This perspective sheds light on the perceived hierarchy within the MMA world and the distinct allure that comes with being associated with the UFC.
