The former UFC lightweight champion retired with no losses to his name. With a career of 16-0, Eagle’s cousin has also remained undefeated in the cage. However, many MMA fans have wondered whether the Bellator fighter can surpass his cousin. Nonetheless, the likeness lies not only in the surname but also in fighting.

Eagle FC recently posted a comparative video of the two brothers smashing their opponents on the ground. However, the similarities between the clips radiated nothing but eeriness. The video showed both the fighters in mount position, putting fist after fist toward their opponents. With the barrage of attacks, all the grounded men could seemingly do was put their hands over their heads.

The caption to the post read, “Khabib and brother Usman smashing opponents same way.” However, the brothers do not have similar choices in fighting. While the ‘Eagle’ has been deploying his excellent grappling skills to submit his opponents, his younger cousin has displayed better Muay Thai skills.
Nonetheless, bringing the top fighters down, mounting them, and unleashing a barrage of fists and elbows is, in fact, something all fighters of Dagestani origin can do. With the record set by Khabib Nurmagomedov, it is time for the young one to follow.
