The surging UFC welterweight fighter, Khamzat Chimaev, looks sharp in a sparring video with a fighter who has competed in three MMA divisions.

The Russian-born Swedish fighter hails an undefeated record of 10-0 under his name. He is a surging prospect of one of the biggest MMA promotions in the world.

‘Borz’ made his UFC debut in 2020 and competed in three fights in the same year. Interestingly, the Russian-born destroyed all his three opponents via a finish, two in the first round of the fight.

Notably, his popularity skyrocketed after ‘Borz’ defeated Li Jingliang in stunning fashion at UFC 267 last year. However, he is yet to compete inside the UFC cage since his last win.

UFC fans are eagerly waiting to see him in action again. Hence, ‘Borz’ is preparing vigorously for his next UFC appearances. Recently, the Swedish fighter was seen sparring with Russian MMA star Magomed Ismailov in a video. The latter has competed in light heavyweight, middleweight, and heavyweight divisions of MMA.

Ever since his last win at UFC 267, ‘Borz’ has been asking for a next fight from the UFC. However, the promotion found it difficult to find a viable opponent for the dominant welterweight fighter.

But, after many names and speculations, the Russian-born fighter finally has a name that he can clash with inside the UFC cage.

UFC is working on a massive welterweight bout between Chimaev and Gilbert Burns. The Brazilian fighter currently stands number two in the welterweight division of UFC.

‘Durinho’ is coming off a dominant win over Stephen Thompson in his last fight. And he has been calling out Chimaev since he won at UFC 267. Both the welterweight combatants have verbally agreed to fight.
