Some people don’t know the fact that Rogan is a legit fighter himself. He’s been involved in the world of MMA for a lot longer than some people know. A former four-time Taekwondo champion from Massachusetts, Rogan is a specialist when it comes to the art of Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Holding black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he focuses a lot on BJJ and Muay Thai. These two art forms largely help supplement his already existing Taekwondo knowledge. He regularly spars with big names in MMA.

In the video above, you can clearly see Joe Rogan showcasing his BJJ skills to TJ Dillashaw, the former two-time UFC Bantamweight champion. During a sparring session with 8-time Muay Thai world champion Liam Harrison, Rogan proceeded to drop him. Albeit it was sparring, no easy feat nonetheless.

Can Joe Rogan ever come to the UFC octagon?

Despite being a highly active individual, Rogan ever gracing the octagon ring for a professional fight is very unlikely. The man makes more than most fighters in the promotion and is practically set for life.

With a really busy schedule of The Joe Rogan Experience and UFC commentating, it might be illogical for Rogan to step out of that bubble and compete. His age is the primary factor in play, making it irrational for him to compete. Perhaps a celebrity exhibition of BJJ match might seem plausible.
