‘The Smesh Bros’ Chimaev and Till are new best friends in the MMA town. The pair does a lot of stuff together, including training, enjoying leisure time, and even mocking one of the biggest MMA stars on the planet.

Recently, in his Instagram stories ‘Borz’ was seen chilling with ‘The Gorilla’ at a restaurant where he uploaded a few pictures and also tagged the latter.

However, in one of his stories, Chimaev used a Baby Yoda filter on Till and tagged the former lightweight champion, McGregor. But the welterweight star said nothing, nor did he use any captions in his story.

The 28-year-old has a habit of calling out top-ranked fighters on his social media. He has also called out McGregor several times. Hence, this could have been a light dig at ‘The Notorious’, who is out of fighting as he is recovering from an injury.

Who should Khamzat Chimaev fight next?

To earn a UFC title shot, ‘Borz’ must prove himself against a top-ranked fighter from the division. He has already defeated one contender among the top five from the roster.

However, he needs one more fight to reach the welterweight title. A fight between champion Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards is already set to take place next in the division.

Hence, in the meantime, Chimaev can fight the number one contender and former title challenger Colby Covington. If he defeats Covington, he will rightfully earn the title shot next.

Also, both Chimaev and Covington are big names in the promotion, who will bring hefty pay-per-views. Therefore, this fight is also a good option for the UFC.
