‘The Great’ clashed against ‘The Korean Zombie’ in the main event of UFC 273 to defend his featherweight title. After the first few exchanges, it was clear that Volkanovski will give a tough time to the South Korean fighter inside the cage.

However, ‘The Korean Zombie‘ absorbed the heavy blows from the champion and was on his feet for most of the time. But then came the fourth round, and ‘The Great’ just had enough.

Earlier, ‘The Great’ was scheduled to take on the former champion Max Holloway at UFC 273. This fight could have been a blockbuster trilogy fight. However, the latter pulled out of the bout because of an injury.

Volkanovski has fought almost all the fighters from the top-5 except the number three and five. However, Holloway still stands at the number one spot in the title race.

Hence, this trilogy makes sense for now, after ‘Blessed’ recovers from his injury. However, we will still have to wait for any official announcement from the UFC.
