In the recent episode of Michael Bisping’s podcast, ‘Believe You Me’, that aired on 6th December, Michael Bisping told his guest, Anthony Smith, how Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson was imprisoned. The young and talented UFC Welterweight fighter confessed recently that he was once arrested for “skinny dipping”. For those who are new to this term; they convicted the beloved fighter for swimming naked in a stranger’s pool without their permission.
Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith could not control their laughter at the hilarious story, especially when it came from the mouth of the ‘Wonderboy’ himself.

To begin with, the UFC legends Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith could not stop laughing at the hilarious narration by Thompson of his first arrest. Bisping went on further to explain how his first thought was to consider Stephen Thompson a “bad boy”. Though the reality of the story was the polar opposite, he was not disappointed.
“… I thought he was a bit of a Johnny Lawrence back in the day. But no, he went to prison for skinny dipping.” Bisping said.

The episode went on with Michael Bisping, sharing about the first time he got arrested. The legend hilariously remembers his childhood memory when he got locked up for possessing a pellet gun in public. He explains how he stepped on the gun in order to hide it but was eventually caught by the cop saying “nice gun you’re standing on though”.

What was Stephen Thompson even trying to do?
As claimed by ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson himself, he was “skinny dipping” in a stranger’s pool. His younger self, being unaware of the consequences, did not see imprisonment coming his way. He reported that the reason why he was caught in the act was the fact that the landlord had installed cameras because the pool was subjected to vandalism prior to Thompson’s mischievous attempt.

According to Thompson, they imprisoned him for the weekend and it wasn’t the most pleasant experience ever. Fans would have been eager to know more details past that. Unfortunately, this is all he shared for now regarding his first arrest.
