As opposed to his in-ring persona, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson is known to be the most hospitable and approachable celebrity in the world. The legendary heavyweight boxer once held the moniker of being the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ as he picked up the heavyweight gold at a young age. With over 40 knockouts in his resume spanning over 50 fights, Tyson is not someone you can mess with and UFC President Dana White knows it all too well.

Once more, a clip of ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and Dana White resurfaced on the internet, which highlights the right way to deal with the boxer. No, Tyson was not being too harsh on White, as the below clip was merely recorded as a skit for the fans. Regardless, it indeed teased something that a particular fan involved in the recent altercation should have done.

MMA community reacts to Mike Tyson attacking a fan

The altercation aboard the flight to Florida quickly went viral all over the world. Naturally, MMA community took to social media to offer their thoughts about the entire incident. And unsurprisingly, not a single fighter backed the random fan who incessantly pestered Tyson. It also being stated that the fan allegedly threw a bottle toward Tyson.

Prominent MMA journalist Ariel Helwani backed Tyson and also stated that the fan got off easy.

Former UFC Champion Tito Ortiz also supported the legendary boxer.

UFC middleweight, Kelvin Gastelum dubbed the fan as ‘drunk, annoying, and rude‘. He also offered his thoughts about his interactions with the boxer and how he is an extremely calm person unless provoked.

Former UFC interim champion Dustin Poirier also supported ‘Iron’ Mike and how he dealt with the fan.

Two divisional women’s boxing champion, Claressa Shields was satisfied with the outcome and how things unfolded. She reiterated that trolling celebrities is not cool and fans should refrain from it.
