‘The Notorious’ has various business ventures that take his net worth up to $200 million. The Irishman owns a fashion line, a whiskey company, and a restaurant, among other businesses.

Conor McGregor is a man of his words and it is proved yet again with this video from the past. ‘The Notorious’ had shared his plans to own a restaurant on The MMA Hour back in 2015, where he also shed light on his interest in cooking.

He said, “I do always say like, someday I think I might open up my own little place. It will be… you know what I’m like for visualization.”

McGregor then shared his business vision and even announced the name he had thought of. His vision has become a reality with the ‘Black Forge Inn’ in Dublin, but that’s not what he initially decided.

‘The Notorious’ declared, “I do visualize having me own place like me own little restaurant kinda thing and I’ve already got the name for a restaurant… Do you ever hear of like Sloppy Joe’s?”

“Well, I would call mine Shredded Joe’s yeah and just have in like pure healthy food and have a like kind of like sports bar you know have like UFC memorabilia and have all the fights on. I think I think a place like that would do good business.”

In 2019, McGregor realized his dream of owning his own restaurant when he purchased the Black Forge Inn. The pub in Crumlin, Dublin, is situated right in the suburb Conor McGregor was brought up in.

As per reports, ‘The Notorious’ acquired the pub for a sum of £2 million. However, he spent over a million pounds more on the renovations and redesign.

Recently, the Black Forge Inn was under attack. According to reports, an unknown entity hurled two petrol bombs at the venue. Fortunately, neither the premises nor any employees suffered any serious damage.

The Irishman dreams of owning his chain of pubs across the world, and ‘The Black Forge Inn’ in Dublin is just the beginning. Knowing McGregor’s vision and track record in getting things done, he just might. Perhaps he could name one of them Shredded Joe’s and see his vision come to life?
