Fans are excited to see UFC welterweights Khamzat Chimaev and Gilbert Burns clash in the octagon soon. Both the fighters will be seen fighting at UFC 273. With the event being so near, the fighters look prepared to rage war.

Recently, Chimaev and Burns met in the hotel and Chimaev challenged his opponent to a strange fight. The Russian-born Chimaev challenged Burns to fight ‘naked!’

In a new video posted by ‘The Mac Life’, ‘Borz’ was heard saying, “Come, we’ll fight naked. You wanna fight me naked? Ah, you’re small brother.”

He was also heard telling Burns to eat and show some power. Burns, however, did not seem the slightest intimidated. He smiled at Chimaev, shook his hand, and said, “I will show you Saturday.”

Khamzat Chimaev is just four fights old in the UFC. Burns will be his first highly ranked fight. Hence, the upcoming fight will give spectators a good measure of his skills. Until now, he has finished all of his fights in a very dominant fashion. However, Burns will surely not be an easy fight for Chimaev.

UFC 273 will feature Alexander Volkanovski versus Chan Sung Jung as the main event. ‘The Korean Zombie’ will be seen trying to snatch the featherweight title away from Volkanovski.

In addition to this, Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan will be seen fighting. Sterling, who holds the bantamweight title, will be seen defending it from his Russian opponent. However, the way their initial fight went, Yan would be highly motivated to get the title back.

With such interesting fights on the line, UFC 273 will be a huge event. It takes place on April 9 at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Khamzat Chimaev: More on his MMA career

The Swedish fighter has not lost a single fight in his professional MMA career. In fact, he has never let his fights conclude via a decision. Interestingly, none of his fights have even gone past the second round. Thus, it is clear that Chimaev needs to face more ranked and skilled opponents.
