Khabib Nurmagomedov conquered the UFC lightweight division and left with an impressive record of 13-0 inside the octagon. Initially, the talisman fighter had issues communicating in English. But when he finally felt comfortable, he left no stones unturned. With the microphone in hand, Nurmagomedov called his shot against Conor McGregor.

After winning the belt in 2018, in an interview with TSN, ‘The Eagle’ called out ‘The Notorious’. In addition, he told the UFC to stay put and explained why the UFC can’t do a world tour with him and Conor.

He said, “If they gonna put me and Conor inside the room, why they make fight? Why we need fight? We can fight inside the room and that’s it. I can finish him, you know.”

“When Aldo stay with him in room, and he touch his shoulder, something else. Brother, nobody can touch my shoulder. Nobody, All my life. Nobody can do this. Maybe he can put something to the bus, but he can not touch my shoulder. Nobody, this is not about Conor or other guy. Nobody can touch me, you know, if somebody gonna try me, touch me, brother, it’s gonna be fight 100, it’s gonna be war.”

To sum up, Nurmagomedov was referring to McGregor touching Aldo‘s shoulder and getting away with it with no consequences. McGregor gave a tough time to Aldo throughout the world tour.

‘The Eagle‘ is tough with his personal space. No fighter can touch him; However, an opponent with tiny reach gave him a tough time inside the octagon. Also, Nurmagomedov landed the first shot. Still, his opponent kept a smile on his face and answered back with a similar strike.
