Joe Rogan has always been involved in controversies. Back in 2023, there was a huge uproar against Rogan. Why? Well, because according to some individuals, he was a racist. So basically, Rogan made a statement against the cancel culture in one of his podcast episodes and certain individuals called him out for being ignorant. When the lobby was against Rogan, Peters came in support of his friend.

“That was serious bullsh*t, and they tried to peg him as a racist,” said Russell Peters. The comedian further emphasized that he has a very close relationship with Rogan and he understands that he was not being a racist. “I know him very, very well. I’ve been to his house, I know his wife, I know his kids. I know everything. This is not the guy you’re trying to paint him out to be.”
